In 2017, the Ohio FFA Association will offer two distinctly different leadership conferences for its members. Both conferences will be held concurrently. The 212 Conference is for 9th & 10th grade students and the 360 Conference is for 11th & 12th grade students.
Embassy Suites, Columbus-Dublin – January 14-15, 2017, the cost for the two-day conference is $70 per student, $45 per advisor (covers registration fee and meals only). You will be charged the full amount per individual for no shows or cancellations after January 2, 2017. Registration • Schedule
Registration for the conference is due by January 2, 2017 or until the conference is full. Make PO’s and checks payable to Ohio FFA Association. Conference registration is limited to 280 students for the 212 conference and 190 students for the 360 conference. Act quickly as there are a limited number of double/double rooms and make sure you secure the FFA rate of $109.00 (excluding tax). All double rooms are double suites, including two double beds and one pull-out sleeper sofa. Schools are tax-exempt from certain taxes and should be able to secure a lower percentage of tax being assessed. 212 Conference – 212, the temperature at which water boils – will focus on taking students to the boiling point of leadership. At 211 water is extremely hot, but just one more degree gets us to the next level. These conferences focus on the development of the individual student. Students will be challenged to push the limits. Themes for this conference include: Virtues, Growth and Collaboration.
360 Conference will take students full circle in chapter leadership development. The conference will cover every angle for developing action plans for their chapters. Themes for this conference include: *Action and Influence. 360 conferences focus on chapter development.
*Action is a key theme for every 212 and 360 conference, as the goal is to provide students the tools, ideas and time to develop action plans for their chapters, communities and personal lives.
Ohio’s 212 and 360 Conferences are conducted by the Ohio FFA Association through the Ohio Department of Education. The Ohio FFA Association is a resource and support organization that does not select, control or supervise local chapter or individual member activities except as expressly provided for in the state FFA constitution, bylaws or policies.
