Student Info

Hello Students!

We are really excited for you to come to Nature’s Classroom at Ohio FFA Camp Muskingum. We want you to have the best time possible here at camp and here are some things that will help you out.

What should I pack?

As a general rule, don’t bring anything to camp that you would be upset if it got lost or damaged. Bring old comfortable clothes because we will be outside for the majority of your time here, after all it is outdoor education. Two pairs of sturdy shoes are a must. Students are required to have close-toed shoes with a back while at camp. Tennis shoes are fine, it is not necessary to have boots, but it is a good idea to have already broken in the shoes to avoid blisters. Students will also be required to have on long pants for some hikes.

Weather in Ohio is unpredictable as we all know, so please prepare for that. Bring rain gear because unless the weather is severe, we will be outside. It also can get chilly at night so it is a good idea to bring a jacket or long sleeve layer.  Please check the weather before you leave, pack so that you are going to be comfortable outside.
