Having an FFA jacket opens doors for students by allowing them to participate in competitions, conferences and events. Through these programs our members learn life and leadership skills that will serve them for years to come. Jacket donation commitments returned by October 1 are appreciated.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Apply or Nominate a Member to Receive a Jacket:<\/strong>
\nWe are committed to serving as many students as possible by providing FFA jackets for first year members! With the generous support of our donors, hundreds of FFA jackets will be provided to students across Ohio.<\/p>\n

- All first year Ohio FFA members are eligible, including middle school members, to apply for an FFA jacket through the Blue Jackets program.<\/li>\n
- Applications and nominations must be submitted by October 15th.<\/li>\n
- Applications should be prepared to respond to the following essay questions:\n

- Why did you choose to join FFA?<\/li>\n
- What FFA event or activity are you most excited to participate in during your first year of membership? Why?<\/li>\n
- In your own words, what does the FFA jacket represent?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Nominators should be prepared to explain why they feel the first-year FFA member is deserving of receiving an FFA jacket provided through the Ohio FFA Blue Jackets program.<\/li>\n
- Incomplete applications will not be considered. Recipients will be selected from remaining applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
