Professional Development

The Agricultural Education Service provides teachers of agriculture with numerous opportunities to hone their skills in an effort to stay current with the latest changes in the industry. The following technical updates are provided to teachers at a nominal cost through collaborative efforts between the Ohio Department of Education, the Ohio Association for Agricultural Educators, Ohio State University and Wilmington College.

Horticulture Pathway Professional Development

When: July 10-11, 2017 
Where: Upper Valley Career Center, Piqua, OH
This two day professional development will center around courses and standards in the A5 Horticulture Pathway. Time will be spent on industry tours and hands-on labs focused around the Landscape Design & Landscape Hardscape Courses

Natural Resources Professional Development

When: November 2-3, 2017 
In conjunction with the Tree Care Industry Expo, this two day professional development will center around courses and standards in the A6 Natural Resources Pathway.
